After undergoing $10 million worth of renovations, we have a brand new, state-of-the-art facility for use. And we want to share the magic of Camp Kindle with you.
Kids Cancer Care uses camp for only part of the year, leaving a number of days open for our community. Whether you're a school group looking for outdoor leadership training, a choir in need of a music hall, another not-for-profit seeking a safe and fun environment or a corporate group in search of a retreat, Camp Kindle is the place for you. Our purpose for the past 20 years has been to create magical camp experiences for children with cancer. We have taken that passion and experience to build inspiring, fun and challenging programs designed just for you.
Camp Kindle is the perfect place to build strong teams and strong leaders. With brand new dorms, a swimming pool, a mind-blowing challenge course that includes a zip-line and giant swing, Camp Kindle has the people and the facilities to change lives. Imagine how great your team will feel after attending a camp with so much spirit, with camp professionals delivering your message in a fun, interesting and unique way.
We've seen success in renting our facilities and we want to expand our growing number of partners to include you. This year we want YOU to make Camp Kindle the place you build team, rejuvenate spirits and bond around a great cause.
By choosing Camp Kindle, not only will you receive top-notch service in a beautiful setting, you will be helping send kids to camp. Every dollar of profit generated through Camp Kindle rentals goes to serving Kids Cancer Care families.
When you leave Camp Kindle, we want you to feel empowered and inspired. Camp Kindle is a place of inspiration as you see others push their limits, face their fears, let go of their inhibitions and in the process learn and grow. It's a place where the human spirit shines and moves you.
Kids Cancer Care is strongly committed to operating Camp Kindle utilizing best practices in the oncology camping field. We are the only Alberta cancer camp that is accredited by the Alberta Camping Association, Children’s Oncology Camping Association – International (COCA-I) and the Canadian Association of Pediatric Oncology Camps (CAPOC). The standards of excellence prescribed by these organizations are the standard operating protocols utilized at Camp Kindle for all of our core programs as well as all guest groups renting Camp Kindle. Parents and event organizers should look for the camp accreditation logos to ensure that facilities and programs are operated with best practice to ensure safety and comfort for all guests.
Kids Cancer Care strives to accommodate all registered families in the programs they choose; however, when space is limited we employ a priority system, which gives priority to children and families who are recently diagnosed, recently bereaved or who have never before attended the program. Thank you for understanding.
