Meals

We know families affected by cancer are busy caring for their children, traveling to the hospital or appointments, and having little time to plan meals. Our Cooking & Caring program presented by Enmax can bring some relief during stressful times. We provide frozen, prepared meals or meal kits to families who are:

• Newly diagnosed
• Relapsed
• Going through treatment
• Dealing with grief and loss

Cooking & Caring meal support is a short-term program that offers 4-6 meals that can be delivered or picked up at our office. Please contact our Family Engagement Coordinator at [email protected] to request more information and the forms for Cooking & Caring.

Pizza Night is offered every Wednesday to families in Unit 1. Orders are sent through a QR code posted on the Unit and our dedicated Kids Cancer Care volunteers deliver delicious meals from Varsity Pizza to the Alberta Children’s Hospital. Sometimes a slice of warm pizza takes dinner off the “to-do” list and helps you get through the day!
