Our year-round Camp and Outreach programs are designed to help kids deal with the physical, social and psychological effects of childhood cancer. Patients, survivors, and siblings are all welcome! We offer therapeutic and recreational programs for tiny tots, tweens, teens, parents, and the whole family. We even have camps for kids affected by a parent's cancer. Join us at one of our many programs!.

Our Education Support Program is designed to address some of the learning-related issues caused by cancer treatments. Our one-to-one tutoring program helps young people disadvantaged by cancer get a solid academic foundation during their primary and secondary school years. When they are ready for post-secondary education, the Derek Wandzura Memorial Scholarship, presented by Enmax, helps childhood cancer patients and survivors move beyond cancer to pursue their dreams.

We are committed to being a catalyst for groundbreaking pediatric cancer Research and providing Hospital support programs to ensure that Alberta families receive the best hospital care right here in the province.

“Kids Cancer Care was there from the beginning. They seem to understand that dealing with a disease like this is a long-term issue for the family, and that support is really very important for many months and years after a major event like this transforms a family.”
