September is Childhood Cancer Awareness month and Kids Cancer Care is joining pediatric cancer groups across North America to draw attention to the tragedy of childhood cancer. We’re inviting you to join us in this growing movement and to do one thing in the fight against childhood cancer this September.

Here are 5 easy ways you can help during Childhood Cancer Awareness Month:

  1. ROCK YOUR LOCKS  Rock Your Locks on Saturday, September 23, 2023 at Kids Cancer Care. Join our community Big Brave event and cut, colour, or shave your lid for a kid while raising funds for our essential programs. Register here.
  2. GET A HAIRCUT! Get your family’s back-to-school haircut at a Great Clips salon. Top up your bill with a donation to Kids Cancer Care and receive a $5 coupon off your next haircut. Book here.
  3. JUMP FOR A CURE! Join us for a tandem jump at Extreme Skydive Calgary at the Beiseker airport and raise funds for children affected by cancer. Register here.
  4. BECOME A MONTHLY DONORFor the price of a monthly Netflix subscription you can be a superhero in the life of a child with cancer. Monthly gifts add up over time and make a lasting impact. Sign up here.
  5. GO GOLD!
Visit one of the many buildings or landmarks in Alberta that are lighting up gold. Take a picture and share it on social to let the world know it’s Childhood Cancer Awareness Month. Don't forget to tag Kids Cancer Care.
